Since last month two Oppo smartphones were constantly being spotted on multiple certification websites– Oppo A18 and Oppo A38. Due to their regular appearances, it was suspected that the devices would be making their debut soon. Recently Oppo A38 was listed on the brand’s UAE website giving a closer look at the specs and features of this smartphone to the users.
Today the smartphone brand has officially launched the Oppo A18 in the United Arab Emirates. Although the pricing and availability details are yet not revealed by the company the specifications have been confirmed. The smartphone arrives with an HD+ display, Helio G85 processor, 5000mAh battery, and much more.

The smartphone sports a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display that arrives with an 89.9% screen-to-body ratio, 720 nits brightness, and 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core Helio G85 SoC and equipped with Mali G52 MC2 GPU. The device offers 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also includes 4GB virtual RAM. It runs on Android 13 OS.
The device is backed by a 5000mAh battery and packs up a dual rear camera setup of 8MP+2MP while it consists of a 5MP selfie camera. Other features include- a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. It will be arriving in two color variants- Glowing black and Glowing blue.
