Qualcomm’s 2023 Snapdragon Summit is scheduled to be held between Oct. 24 and Oct. 26. The company is expected to announce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform, which will power many of the flagship phones that will debut this year in China. Rumours are rife that the Xiaomi 14 series will be the first to feature the SD8G3. Several tipsters in China are speculating on its launch date.
As can be seen in the screenshots below, some tipsters from China are hinting that the Xiaomi 14 series will be announced on Oct. 27. One of the tipsters can be seen saying that the said date has been confirmed by Xiaomi’s offline store. With such an early announcement, it appears that the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro could be made available for purchase for the upcoming Double Eleven (Nov. 11) shopping festival in China.
The Xiaomi 14 series will consist of three models: Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro, and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. While the standard and Pro versions are anticipated to be unveiled this month, the 14 Ultra could make its debut in early 2024. This follows the introduction of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in the second quarter of this year, indicating a potentially delayed release for the 14 Ultra.
The global launch of the Xiaomi 14 series is expected to take place in the first half of 2024. The Xiaomi 14 series will be the company’s first phones to come preloaded with the MIUI 15-based Android 14.
