Honor’s Play 8T Smartphone Launched in China: Price Starts at CNY 1,099
The Chinese smartphone maker, Honor, has finally unveiled the Honor Play 8T smartphone in its home market in China. The smartphone comes in two storage options and has three color choices for its customers.

Honor Play 8T Launched in China
The Honor Play 8T smartphone has arrived equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset, having a primary clock speed of 2.4GHz. The device is also integrated with the Mali-G57 GPU and runs on the MagicOS 7.2 custom UI based on the Android 13 operating system. The device is available in two storage options of 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB.
Speaking of its display, the latest Honor smartphone features a 6.8″ large TFT LCD display with 2412 x 1080 pixels(FHD+) resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 850 nits brightness rate, and 16.7 million colors.
Coming to the cameras, the smartphone at its rear has a dual camera unit with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there is also an 8MP front-facing camera.
Regarding the battery, the device is backed by a 6000 mAh lithium polymer battery, supporting a super fast charging feature with the help of the 11V/3.2A charger provided. Other features include 5G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with 2.4GHz & 5GHz dual-band support, Bluetooth 5.1, OTG, various location positioning systems(GPS, AGPS, Beidou & Glonass), USB 2.0(USB Type-C), dual stereo speakers(Hi-Res certified), 8.24mm thickness and 199gm weight.
About its price, the 8GB/256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,099, whereas the 12GB/256GB model has a higher price tag of CNY 1,299. Three color choices are available and customers will be able to get the device in Black(Magic Night Black), Green(Mo Yuqing), and Silver(Streaming Silver) colors.
