Vivo Y78t Smartphone Launched in China: Price Starting at CNY 1,199
The Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo, has launched a new Y-series smartphone device, the Vivo Y78t, in its home market in China. The newly launched smartphone has been made available in three storage options and three color choices.

Vivo’s Y78t smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, integrated with the Adreno 710 GPU, and runs on the Android 13 based OriginOS 3.0 custom user interface. The device is also coupled with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The Y78t comes in three storage options 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB.
The smartphone has a 6.64″ LCD display panel for its display, which has a screen resolution of 2388×1080 pixels(FHD+) and a refresh rate of 120Hz. To add, the display has an aspect ratio of 19.9:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 91.06%
At the rear, it sports a dual camera setup with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP additional camera. There is also an 8MP front camera on the device as well.
A large battery of 6000 mAh is also packed within the device to offer great battery life, along with a 44W USB type-C fast charge support.
Other specs include 5G network connectivity, Wi-Fi with triple band support, Bluetooth 5.1, OTG, a 3.5mm audio jack, face recognition, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
About its price, the base model(8GB/128GB) starts at a price of CNY 1,199, whereas the high-end model(12GB/256GB) is priced at CNY 1,499. The 8GB/256GB mid-model is available with a price tag of CNY 1,299.
Customers will also be able to get the device in three colors – Green(Distant Mountains Green), Black(Moon Shadow Black), and White(Snowy White).
