Samsung Galaxy S23 beta users received stable Android 14 based OneUI 6 update in India
Earlier, it was rumoured that Samsung may release a final update after beta 8 but Samsung came with yet another version of beta 9. After such 9 beta updates, we are going to witness a final release of the OneUI 6. I would say, Samsung took the task of refining the OneUI 6 seriously which is why it took 9 revisions for it to come out with a final version.
Samsung has begun rolling out the stable Android 14-based OneUI 6 update to beta users of the Galaxy S23 in India. This update has come from an X user named Tarun Vats who last week predicted its release in India upto this week.
As per the screenshot, the update can be identified by version S918BXXU3BWJM/S918BOXM3BWJM/S918BXXU3BWJM. For beta users, this update is 358.39 MB large. Along with other improvements, it also integrates the October 2023 security patch.
The updates bring an array of new features including revamped Quick panel and app interface, a new face type called OneUI Sans. Some AI features like Photo Remaster, and Object Eraser in Gallery app will also be seen. The weather app gets a new widget and interactive map view and camera with more alignment options. Apps like Calendar, Reminder, and Samsung Internet apps have also been worked on to improve. You can check out the OneUI 6 in detail from here.
On being asked about the time when the stable version will be rolled out for all users in India, Tarun Vats answered to a user that it could be rolled out today in a few hours as happened in Europe.
