Elon Musk’s SpaceX crew has been in space for more than 100 days – NASA Commercial Crew

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration on Thursday said that the team of Dragon space apparatus of Elon Musk’s SpaceX has broken the record for most days in space and has achieved 100 days in space.

Crew Dragon has officially been in space for more than days! The Crew-1 mission launched on Nov. 15, 2020 & arrived at the @Space_Station on Nov. 16, carrying Shannon Walker, @AstroVicGlover , @Astro_illini @Astro_Soichi. They will return in late April/early May.

Even Elon musk has retweeted the same congratulating the team for the same.

In the meantime, NASA has chosen tech tycoon Elon Musk’s private aviation organization SpaceX to give dispatch administrations to an astronomy mission to study the sky in the close infrared light.

The arranged two-year mission is called SPHEREx, short for Spectro-Photometer for the History of the Universe, Epoch of Reionization, and Ices Explorer.

The close infrared light, which, however not noticeable to the natural eye, fills in as an incredible asset for addressing inestimable inquiries including the introduction of the universe, and the resulting advancement of cosmic systems, as indicated by NASA.
