iQOO 12 Pro is confirmed to come with Samsung E7 AMOLED screen with 2K resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate
The much-awaited iQOO 12 series that comprises iQOO 12 and 12 Pro will be coming on November 7. These smartphones have been part of numerous leaks and reports. Just recently the Pro version of the series was found listed on Geekbench with the model number V2329A.
Now the company seems to have poured more information about the handset through its Weibo page. As per the image posted by the company on Weibo, the iQOO 12 series is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It will pack 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage. There will also be a self-developed Q1 dedicated display processor.
There will also be the largest ultra-wide vibration motor in iQOO’s history. For better heat dissipation it will feature a four-zone heat dissipation architecture+ 6K Ultra large area VC vapour chamber. For an immersive listening experience, it will also be equipped with symmetrical dual stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio / Wireless support.
It has also confirmed some display specs of the iQOO 12 Pro in a Weibo post. As per the post, the Pro model will boast a Samsung E7 AMOLED screen with 2K resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate.
Sharing the image X username Anvin wrote the rumoured specs of the handset. As per the user, the Pro model can come with a 6.78-inch wide curved edge display that sports up to 2700 nits peak brightness and 1440 Hz PWM dimming. It can also come with an Ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The series has also bagged certification from 3C that revealed that it will support 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It is also officially confirmed to come in an IP68-rated body.
