Vivo X100 smartphone hands on image leaked ahead of launch

Vivo just recently announced the launch date of the much-awaited Vivo X100 series that is November 13. The company wants buyers to focus on its camera abilities with the slogan “Professional Imaging Technology Flagship ” though it’s no less in other aspects too. We will talk about those things later in the article but the recent update is about its hands-on image that has been leaked.

A Weibo user recently shared the hands-on image of the Vivo X100 and it undoubtedly looks stunning. The image only shows the rear panel of the handset. The blue color rear panel with a semi-circular design makes it look like a show stopper. Its centrally aligned prominent circular camera module has a Zeiss branding in the center and there is an LED flash out of the camera module. The handset can be seen held comfortably with the curved corners of the handset.

Just recently the company revealed the camera samples of Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro. The report suggests that the X100 will be equipped with a Sony IMX920 primary camera while the Pro model will have a Sony IMX989 main camera. Both smartphones are also expected to boast a 50 MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens.

Both of the handsets will be powered by Dimensity 9300 chipset whose AnTuTu Benchmark scores have already raised the bar high. The Vivo X100 series will feature a deadly combination of LPDDR5T and UFS 4.0 storage. As far as battery is concerned the Vivo X100 will be backed by a 5,100 mAh battery that supports 120 W fast charging whereas the X100 Pro will be backed by a 5,400 mAh battery with 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It is expected that Vivo X100 might be available at a starting price of 3,999 Yuan(~546).
