OPPO Find X7 series to feature LYT-900 Sony lens, claims leak
OPPO is working on the Find X7 series for the Chinese market. The Pro model in the lineup is likely to rival the Vivo X100 Pro+ and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. A new leak has revealed the primary camera of the Find X7 Pro.
According to the leaker, the Find X7 Pro will be equipped with the upcoming Sony Lytia LYT-900 primary camera. Rumours surrounding the camera sensor claim that it is an updated version of the existing 1-inch Sony IMX989 camera sensor. Reports have revealed that competing phones, such as the Vivo X100 Pro+ and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, will also feature the same primary camera.
The Find X7 series will come equipped with a major upgrade in the periscope telephoto camera department, but DCS did not go into the specifics. To recall, the Find X6 and X6 Pro featured 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 and 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 primary cameras, respectively. While the X7 Pro is expected to feature the LYT-900 main camera, it is likely that the X7 may have a different primary camera.
Previous leaks have revealed that the Find X7 Pro’s rear camera setup will have a 50-megapixel LYT-900 primary camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel LYT-700 ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel LYT-700 periscope telephoto camera. For selfies, it will have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
In today’s leak, DCS also mentioned that the Find X7 and X7 Pro are both top-notch devices in terms of hardware. As per reports, the X7 will feature the Dimensity 9300 chipset, whereas the X7 Pro will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 onboard.
