Ever Wondered what would happen if Earth Collided with another planet? Know more

Let’s break it down, Shall we!

The collision won’t be unexpected, yes it won’t as, a few weeks before the collision occurs; we will be able to see an object in the sky and as days pass by, it will seem bigger and bigger as it comes close to the Earth. This would seem like it was as if it’s moving at a slow pace but it is only because of the huge distance involved. On the contrary in space, this planet would be coming towards Earth at a very speed, per se 11 kms/s. As this planet interprets the moon’s orbit, that’s when things will get worse as the gravitational pull on Eath’s tide will become massive and soon cities will begin to flood situated on the coastlines.

Almost a day and a quarter before the collision the gravity of both planets pulling themselves towards each other would automatically speed up the process. All living beings on earth will be facing every natural disaster possible such as hurricanes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes in every single part of the world. Just a few nanoseconds before the collision, both planet’s atmosphere will be compressed together and it would get so hot that everything on the surface of the earth will soon start to vaporise. On the other hand, the land will turn into magma. The collision of these planets would cause friction which will result in tens of millions of superheated rocks similar looking to fireballs will hit earth in all directions. While all this happens on the out surface of the earth, the earth’s inner core would melt the planet from within resulting in that the earth would tend to collapse on itself.

This would be the end of an era!
