Motorola celebrates its 10th anniversary of Moto g family
Motorola celebrates this year as its 10th year in the mid-tier smartphone segment with over 200 million Moto G devices sold worldwide. This journey began with the first generation Moto G smartphone which came out as the best option when users had a choice between an underpowered mobile experience or older premium smartphones with outdated specs.
As per the company, it understands the Moto g4 was a big milestone in the journey as it came with some of the best specs at that time including a fingerprint sensor and a PDAF camera system with laser autofocus. Consumers were also empowered with some of the customization options like Moto Maker. The Moto Maker gave users the choice to choose the back plate colour, the accent color, and the front plate color.

The Moto g100 which is the 10th generation in the Moto G family was the first mid-tier device within the Moto G family to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 series processor, 5G connectivity, and a large battery.
This year the company launched the Moto G84 5G smartphone that won the hearts of users by incorporating the PANTONE colour of the year, Viva Magenta, and leather back. Along with some of the best features it also came with AI features in areas like camera, battery, display, and device performance.
As per the company, it will “continue to be relentless in creating the most advanced, competitive and desirable products and experiences for our moto g consumers”
