RedMagic has finally announced the company’s new flagship gaming phones, in China named RedMagic 9 Pro and RedMagic 9 Pro+.
As far as the launch in the global market is concerned the RedMagic 9 Pro smartphone will be launched on 18th December at 7:00 AM EST. Its early sale will commence from January 2, 2024, while open sale will begin from January 3, 2024. It seems as if the global market won’t get to see the Pro+ model for now as per the launch page.

Specifications of RedMagic 9 Pro, RedMagic 9 Pro+
Both of the gaming handsets are the first gaming smartphones to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It packs up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
It features a 6.8-inch OLED BOE Q9+ screen with up to 120 Hz refresh rate, 960Hz multi-finger screen touch sampling rate,2000 Hz instant touch sampling rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming + DC dimming, and up to 1600 nits of peak brightness.
It is equipped with the latest ICE 13 cooling system that includes a 22,000 rpm built-in cooling fan, that is designed with shark fin blades that operate as silently as 4dB thus making it least audible to the human ear. There is also a customisable RGB lightning adding to the overall aesthetics of these gaming smartphones.
For optimal performance of the handset, it comes with 10182mm² VC ensuring effective heat dissipation. The company has equipped the phones with an independently built gaming chip Red Core R2 Pro for improved shoulder keys, enhanced vibration, defining game lightning effects, and enhanced sound effects. It comes with a large X-axis linear motor. It is equipped with stereo dual speakers and dual 115k speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 3 mic for gaming.
In the camera section, the handsets have got a 50 MP f/1.57 inch Samsung GN5 sensor, a 50 MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera, and a 16 MP under-screen camera on the front side. The RedMagic 9 Pro is backed by a 6500 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support while RedMagic 9 Pro+ is backed by a 5500 mAh battery that supports 165W charging.
