Realme has announced the public beta version of Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 for Realme GT5 users in China. As per the announcement, the public beta version is only for those who are experienced and system stability will be lower than the official version. The Realme UI 5.0 focuses on upgrading systems, and dynamic effects, improving system fluency, bringing a more intuitive operating experience, and optimising service.

The update has made sure to emphasise security and privacy by adding privacy watermarks that add protective watermarks to ID photos with one click. Photo and video permission management have also been optimised making application access more stronger.
System stability will also be improved, improving the application startup speed and optimising animation smoothness. With this update, users will be able to manage the interconnected devices in a unified manner and control them conveniently.
The update will upgrade the aquatic color system, adopting a natural soft, and clearer interface style. New aquatic system ringtones will be added and system UI prompt sound effects will be optimised.
Migrating the data on the new phone made it easy with the update thus quickly verifying the new phone. As far as fixing the problem is concerned, the problem of no response with WeChat will be resolved. The camera lagging problem has also been optimised.
The public beta program will begin on 28 Nov 2023. And basic version for the recruitment is RMX3820_13.1.1.146(CN01) for Realme GT 5 while for Realme GT 5 240W is RMX3823_13.1.1.146(CN01). You can also submit bugs if you across any after updating.
