Redmi 13R 5G Bluetooth SIG certified, likely to be rebranded Redmi 13C 5G
Redmi recently unveiled the Redmi 13C (4G) smartphone for the global market. Now, the said device is scheduled to launch on Dec. 6 in India. On the same day, the brand will also announce another model called the Redmi 13C 5G for the global and Indian markets. While everything is now known about the 4G variant as it has already launched in the global market, nothing is known about its 5G edition. Ahead of the launch, the Redmi 13C 5G has reportedly bagged an important certification.
In the above screengrab, the upcoming Redmi 13R 5G phone bearing the model number 23124RN87C has received approval from the Bluetooth SIG certification platform. The letter āCā mentioned in the model number reveals that it is a China-bound variant of the Redmi 13R.
The global and Indian variants of the device bearing 23124RN87G and 23124RN87I have been previously spotted in the IMEI database. As per a Chinese leaker, the Redmi 13R 5G will be rebranded as the Redmi 13 5G in the Chinese market. Unfortunately, there is no information available about the specifications of the Redmi 13R / 13C 5G.
As far as the 4G version is concerned, it has a 6.74-inch HD+ 90Hz display, an Helio G85 chipset, up to 8 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera, and its back panel has a 50-megapixel triple camera unit. The device has a side-facing fingerprint sensor, and it runs on MIUI 14-based Android 13.
