Update on SpaceX Starship SN10 Launch

SpaceX is billionaire Elon Musk’s brainchild. It is an aerospace manufacturer and space transportation services company founded in 2002.

It’s confirmed that the third attempt to launch and land its Mars-bound Starship spacecraft will be on March 3. The launch window runs from 9 am local time (3 pm GMT) until 6 pm (12 am GMT, Thursday)

SN10 is SpaceX’s third Starship prototype to fly and will aim for a maximum altitude of just over 6 miles (10 kilometres).

Starship SN10 prototype is already on the launchpad at SpaceX’s Boca Chica facility in Texas, ready for its test launch. All the necessary components including its raptors are in place. The SN10 has eight hours to lift-off, and a possible opportunity to accomplish what its predecessors SN 8 AND SN9 could not. If successful, SN10 will become the first Starship prototype to achieve a landing after flying to a high altitude, with similar tests of SN8 and SN8 not ending successfully, and instead of exploding.

SpaceX will also be providing live footage of the launch. You can watch it on the SpaceX website.
