Reports regarding the upcoming Magic 6 series devices from Honor have been coming out for the past few months and now, new updates have arrived pointing to the design features of the smartphones as well as suggesting the expected specifications of the Magic 6 Pro device.

Honor Magic 6 Series – Tipped Design Features
The Honor Magic 6 series will comprise of four smartphone devices – the vanilla Magic 6, Magic 6 Pro, Magic 6 Ultimate, and the Magic 6 Lite smartphones, of which the Magic 6 Lite has already been launched.
About the design features of the three other upcoming smartphones that are now being expected to debut soon, all the smartphones are likely to have bold designs with a dual punch-hole four-side-curved display screen. The camera modules of the vanilla and pro models have been tipped to be circular, whereas the Ultimate variant might have a square-shaped module with rounded corners.
It has also been noted that the lens arrangement of the Magic 6 and Magic 6 Pro smartphones will probably be similar to that of the Magic 5 series devices, along with the cut-edge design of the Mate X5 foldable. The update also mentions that the Magic 6 Ultimate will be having a Porsche design version too.
Honor Magic 6 Pro – Leaked Specs
The pro model of the series, the Honor Magic 6 Pro, will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and may be equipped with an independent graphics chip. The device is also said to have an AI large model and the MagicOS 8.0 custom skin with Smart Island animation.
The smartphone is also reported to have a high-frequency eye protection display screen with close to 2K resolution and maybe backed by the 2nd generation Qinghai Lake battery. An IP68-rated body and nano-crystalline glass are also expected to be a part of the smartphone.
Some of the other leaked specifications include the satellite calling technology, 2nd generation RF enhancement & independent security chip, OV50K 1-inch large bottom main camera with variable aperture, and the 3D face gesture operation using eye tracking. It has also been added that the smartphone is going to have a rear panel with contrasting colors and a Rococo White design.
The launch date has also been mentioned, and as per which, the smartphone is expected to be released in late January 2024, early next year.
