Oppo Enco X3i spotted on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification website; could be the rebranded version of OnePlus Buds 3

Just a few days back our team spotted Oppo Enco Buds 2 Pro on the SIRIM certification website which hinted that the company might be planning to launch new earbuds soon in the market. Other than these earbuds the brand also seems to be working on another pair of earbuds.

This is because we have spotted Oppo Enco X3i earbuds on the SIRIM certification website with type approval code RFFS/561/1223/S(23-5588) and model number E509A.

Except for the model number and moniker, not much is revealed about the upcoming earbuds from the database. But recently OnePlus Buds 3 was spotted on Canadian REL and FCC certification websites bearing the same model number- E509A. This points out that the upcoming Oppo Enco X3i might be the rebranded version of the OnePlus Buds 3.

OnePlus Buds 3: Specifications (expected)

Recently the key specs of the earbuds leaked online as per which it is expected to equip itself with a pair of 10.4mm woofers and 6mm tweeters and may support a 45dB active noise cancellation feature. The earbuds are said to be IP55-rated, whereas the charging case would likely be IPX5-rated. Other expected features are Google Fast Pair, dual connection support, and Bluetooth connectivity of version 5.3.

As per FCC listing the charging case will be backed by a 520 mAh battery, while the earbuds will each pack 58 mAh batteries. Regarding the battery life, with ANC turned on, the earbuds will probably last for about 6 hours, which can be expanded to up to 22 hours with the charging case. Without the ANC, the earbuds are expected to offer an even longer battery life of 9 hours, expandable to up to 33 hours.
