iQOO Neo 9 specifications leak reveals 144Hz OLED display, 5,160mAh battery, IMX920 50MP main camera, and more
Earlier today, the iQOO Neo 9 was spotted in the database of China’s 3C certification platform. While recent reports have spilled information about the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, the rumor mill hasn’t leaked concrete details about the vanilla model. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has now revealed almost everything about the standard variant.

According to the tipster, the iQOO Neo 9 will arrive with a 6.78-inch flat OLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. For security, it will have an in-screen fingerprint scanner and run on OriginOS 4-based Android 14.
The Neo 9 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which means it will rival the likes of the Redmi K70, Realme GT 5, the Honor 100 Pro, and the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3, which are also equipped with the same chipset. The leak states that the device will be made available in 12 GB and 16 GB RAM options.
However, it does not say anything about the storage options of the Neo 9. It appears that, like its predecessor, the iQOO Neo 8, the Neo 9 will also arrive with up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The leaker claims that the device will be backed by a 5,160mAh battery. As per the 3C certification of the device, it will have support for 120W fast charging.
The iQOO Neo 9 is said to feature a 16-megapixel camera on the front. Its rear panel will have an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Lastly, the tipster also claimed that the Neo 9 is equipped with a plastic middle frame.
