Honor’s Notebook X14 and Notebook X16 2024 Models Unveiled in China

The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, Honor, has introduced its new Notebook X14 and Notebook X16 2024 models in its home market in China.

Honor Notebook X14 2024

The Notebook X14 2024 is powered by the 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13420H processor, and is integrated with the Intel UHD Graphics. The device runs on the Windows 11 Home Edition operating system, and comes in 16GB/512G storage option.

It features a 14″ IPS screen with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a screen resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Other display specs are 100% sRGB color gamut, 1200:1 contrast ratio, 300 nits brightness, 161 PPI pixel density, 178-degree viewing angle, and an eye protection mode with TUV Rheinland low blue light and flicker-free certifications.

This Honor notebook also has a full-sized backlit keyboard with 1.5mm key travel and a 5-point touchpad measuring 119.2 x 71.4 mm. It also has a 720P HD front camera, two inbuilt speakers, two microphones, and a fingerprint scanner.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax with dual band support(2.4GHz & 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, Honor’s Magic Link(NFC), an HDMI port, two USB type-A ports, a USB type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Regarding the battery, it packs a 60Wh lithium polymer battery, which will offer a usage time of up to 12 hours. Users will be able to fully charge the device in 1.5 hours.

About the price, a limited period 100-yuan off is available with the notebook, along with a free limited edition mouse, and customers can get the device now for an in-hand price of CNY 3,799. To add, it only comes in Glacier Silver color.

Honor Notebook X16 2024

Honor’s Notebook X16 2024 device is also equipped with the 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13420H processor, and has the Windows 11 Home Edition operating system onboard. It also has the Intel UHD Graphics integrated within, and is coupled with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

For its display, the device has a larger 16″ IPS panel, with features such as 16:10 aspect ratio, 178-degrees viewing angle, 100% sRGB color gamut, 1200:1 contrast ratio, 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution, 300 nits brightness, and 142 PPI pixel density. The display also supports the eye protection mode, and is certified by the TUV Rheinland authority for low blue light and flicker-free qualities.

Other notable specs are the full-sized backlit keyboard with 1.5 mm key travel distance, 5-point touchpad that measures 119.2 x 71.4 mm, 720P HD camera, dual speakers and dual microphones, fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax with 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual band support, Bluetooth 5.1, Magic Link(NFC), USB type-C port, two USB type-A ports, HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Coming to its battery life, it will offer a total usage time of up to 11.5 hours to its users, and is backed with the same 60Wh lithium polymer battery. Charging time is 1.5 hours.

The Honor Notebook X16 2024 is priced CNY 3,899 in the Chinese market, and is bundled with the 100-yuan discount and limited edition free mouse. Again, only the Glacier Silver color choice is available for the device.
