Sony FE 300mm F2.8 GM OSS Lens officially teased to launch soon in India
The widely famous electronic manufacturer Sony has recently launched INZONE Buds Gaming earbuds in the Indian market and today the company has officially teased to launch a new lens in the country which is said to be the lightest telephoto prime lens in it’s class.

This lens has been introduced by the company last year in the month of November and in the global markets pre-orders for this lens were also started in the same month.
Sony FE 300mm F2.8 GM OSS Lens: Specifications and Features
As per Sony’s official website, it arrives with a Sony E-mount 35mm full frame and 300mm focal length. This lens measures 124x265mm and weighs 1470g. This is the lightest large-aperture telephoto lens in its class that delivers outstanding optical performance. It features an optical design that includes three Super ED (extra-low dispersion) glass elements and one ED glass element. The bokeh feature brings subjects to the fore while an 11-blade circular aperture mechanism contributes to smooth ball bokeh.
Nano AR Coating II of the lens minimizes flare and ghosting for crisp, clear images. Whereas fast, precise AF is also quiet and slow in vibration. Users can carry on with high-speed continuous shooting with the help of fast, precise AF/AE. High AF tracking performance is available with the optional 1.4x and 2.0x teleconverters. Built-in OIS makes it easier to shoot sharp images handheld at telephoto focal lengths.
This upcoming device includes a function ring that directly controls the power focus, APS-C/Full-frame switching, or preset focus function of compatible bodies. This lens arrives with a dust and moisture-resistant design that provides extra reliability. It can use standard 40.5mm diameter drop-in ND and other filters as well as Sony’s own VF-DCPL1 circular polarizer.
