OnePlus 12R spotted on Google Play Console ahead of its Jan 23 Global Launch

OnePlus is gearing up for the global launch of the highly anticipated OnePlus 12 and 12R, along with the OnePlus Buds 3. Recently, the OnePlus Buds 3 gained attention in the Chinese market alongside the OnePlus Ace 3. Now, the team at The Tech Outlook has spotted the OnePlus 12R on Google Play Console, confirming that it will feature the same processor as the OnePlus Ace 3 (previously rumored to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus 12R).

What did we find in the listing?

According to the listing, the OnePlus 12R is expected to be powered by the same processor found in the OnePlus Ace 3 – the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with Qualcomm Kryo 780 CPUs (3000 MHz, 3x 2500 MHz, 4x 1800 MHz) and a Qualcomm Adreno 730 GPU (818 MHz). Additionally, the listing suggests the presence of 16GB RAM paired with Android 14 (OxygenOS 14).

Turning to the display, the OnePlus 12R is said to feature a 1264×2780 resolution, maintaining a screen size and density of 560 DPI identical to that of the OnePlus Ace 3. This seems to confirm the speculation that the OnePlus 12R is essentially a repackaged version of the OnePlus Ace 3.

The listing confirms one thing: we will be able to see a 16GB RAM variant of this smartphone. The rest of the specs are under wraps, but with only a day left before the launch, tomorrow, we will see this smartphone go official globally, including in India.
