Honor, the Chinese consumer electronics maker, after the launch of the Pad X9 and Pad 9 tablet devices, is preparing a new tablet device. The specifications of the upcoming tablet have now been tipped by a Chinese tipster on Weibo – Digital Chat Station.

Upcoming Honor Tablet – Tipped Specifications
This Honor tablet that is said to be in the works, unlike the other two tablets that were unveiled last year in 2023, will be a 5G tablet and the tipster points it to be introduced in the entry-level segment [Pad X9 – 4G+WiFi/WiFi only; Pad 9 – WiFi only]. Satellite communication might also be present on this device, however, the tipster has mentioned a “flagship tablet” and there is a chance that this could be about a different device.
Furthermore, the tipster notes that the entry-level 5G tablet will likely be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G chipset, and is possibly going to feature a 12.1″ LCD display screen having a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The display is also expected to have a flicker-free certified eye protection too. A 35W wired fast charge support has also been tipped.
As mentioned, last year we saw the debut of two Honor tablets namely the “Honor Pad X9” and the “Honor Pad 9“. It is also surprising to note that the display and fast charge specs of the upcoming 5G tablet appear to be similar to that of the recently launched Honor Pad 9 device.
