Now, drawing a comparison between both smartphones based on this leak: the Reno 12 is expected to feature 256 GB storage, while the Reno 12 Pro may come with two storage variants, namely 512 GB or 216 GB. Additionally, all the specifications are similar, except for the front camera, where the Reno 12 lacks autofocus, and it is equipped with an unspecified MediaTek chipset.
However, upon examining this information, it contradicts what DCS had previously disclosed regarding the possibility of the Reno 12 Pro being powered by a Snapdragon chipset. It might be prudent to await the official information directly from Oppo.
Pricing and availability
According to the provided information, the Reno 12 is expected to have a starting price of USD 499 (Approx. Rs. 41,416.78), while the Pro version may be priced around USD 799 (Approx. Rs. 66,316.64). Regarding its availability, the publication mentions that it is anticipated to launch in the month of June. However, there is no mention of the specific countries for its unveiling, but it is likely to debut in China first and then in other countries.
But recently, Oppo and Nokia both have signed a 5G Patent cross-license agreement, which would mean that Oppo may soon start selling its smartphones in EU markets as before.
