Honor Magic 6 RSR confirmed to launch in March, 100x zoom teased
Honor announced the Magic 6 and Magic 6 Pro in January in China. The company was also expected to launch a special edition phone called the Magic 6 RSR, but it wasn’t announced. The brand has now confirmed by releasing the teaser video below that the Magic 6 RSR will launch in March in China.

The Honor Magic 6 RSR teaser confirms the moniker of the device. In addition, it reveals that the device will support up to 100x zoom. It also seems that it may feature a hexagonal camera module. Unfortunately, the brand has not revealed any information on the specs of the device.
Rumours surrounding the device have claimed that it could be the world’s first smartphone to feature the OV50K camera. It is speculated that it is the first one-inch camera sensor from OmniVision. The Magic 6 RSR is expected to rival the likes of the OPPO Find X7 Ultra, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, and the rumoured Vivo X100 Ultra which are equipped with the one-inch, 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 primary camera.
According to a new leak by tipster Digital Chat Station, the main camera of the Honor Magic 6 RSR will have f/1.4 to f/2.0 variable aperture support. In addition, the device will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and have support for two-way satellite communication.
