Alleged OPPO Reno 12 Pro specifications leak reveals display, chipset, camera, battery, charging details
OPPO is said to be working on the Reno 12 series of smartphones. Since the Reno 11 lineup debuted in November in China, the Reno 12 series will likely be announced in China’s second quarter of this year. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station leaked the key specifications of an upcoming smartphone without specifying its name. The leaker could be talking about the Reno 12 Pro, as some of the specs align with a previous leak.
According to the leaker, the smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch OLED panel with micro-curvature at the edges. It will offer a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the device will feature the Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset. The leak has no information about the RAM and storage capacities of the device. However, it states that it is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W charging.
The leak states that the phone has a 50-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a triple camera system on the back that consists of a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.
This leak matches the previously leaked Reno 12 Pro details, with slight discrepancies in processor and charging specifications (Dimensity 9200+ and 80W instead of Dimensity 9200 and 67W). It is likely the same device, but awaiting further confirmation is advisable. The previous leak included additional specs like an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, 12 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of storage.
