OnePlus 10 Pro Now Receiving the OxygenOS 14.0.0.500 Update in India: February 2024 Android Security Patch

OnePlus, the Chinese consumer electronics maker, has started rolling out the OxygenOS 14.0.0.500 update to its 2022 flagship 10 Pro smartphone in India. The update will be bringing the February 2024 Android security patch, along with other improvements and bug fixes.

OnePlus 10 Pro – OxygenOS 14.0.0.500 Update

This OxygenOS update has the firmware version – “NE2211_14.0.0.500(EX01)”, and it is incremental in nature. Some of the OnePlus 10 Pro Indian users might have already received it in the country, while for others, a broader roll-out will be taking place in the coming few days.

Regarding the changelogs, firstly the February 2024 Android security patch will be integrated to the device and this will enhance the overall system security. Improvements will also be brought to system stability and performance. The issue that causes certain apps to crash will also be fixed. At times, users might have faced difficulties with the NFC function and this has also been fixed.

On the app side, the weather details viewing experience has been improved and a switch for changing year/month/day view in Settings is an addition. The problems that causes photos to not be displayed when albums are opened, as well as the non-displaying of “Default” and “Adjust” buttons on the in-game floating keyboard have been resolved too.
