Oppo Find X7 Ultra scores the top rank at the DXOMARK Camera Ranking
The Chinese smartphone brand Oppo unveiled its latest Oppo Find X7 series in the month of January this year. The series included Oppo Find X7 and Oppo Find X7 Ultra smartphones. Among these devices, Oppo Find X7 Ultra was said to be the ultimate camera phone that combined the world’s first breakthroughs in camera hardware with Oppo’s powerful Hyper Tone Camera system, cutting-edge computational photography, and pro-grade Hasselblad tuning.
Recently Oppo Find X7 Ultra was put through a rigorous DXOMARK Camera test suite to measure its performance in photo, video, and zoom quality from an end-user perspective. And the results of this DXOMARK camera testing have turned out to be really impressive.
As officially announced by Oppo Chief Product Officer, Pete Lau, Oppo Find X7 Ultra has taken the top spot on DXOMARK’s camera ranking.

While Find X7 Ultra achieved a best-in-class overall Camera score of 157, with a record-setting sub-score for Bokeh and the highest Video sub-score of any Android smartphone.
Oppo Find X7 Ultra: DXOMARK Camera Testing
Oppo Find X7 Ultra houses four 50MP camera sensors, one with Sony’s second generation 1-inch sensor for mobile and two of which are periscope zoom cameras and with this imaging system, the device is said to create a best-in-class photography and video experience.
Oppo Find X7 Ultra excelled in DXOMARK’s tests with record-setting scores in various conditions including indoor, Night time, and Friend & Family categories. The smartphone offers good color rendering and white balance in photo and video, excellent bokeh effect with good subject isolation and high levels of details, very good detail at medium and long-range tele, and good texture/ noise trade-off in photo and video even in low light and accurate exposure and wide dynamic range on portraits and landscape shots.
The device can capture 10-bit Dolby Vision HDR video at 4k resolution with seamless transitions across all four cameras for a pro-grade video camera experience.
