Vivo is all set to launch its much-awaited foldable smartphone series Vivo X Fold 3 on March 26. This series has already been part of numerous reports, some mention the confirmed specs while some are still just about the speculations. A new update has come about this series of foldable phones and that is about its weight and thickness. This is one of the important aspects that foldable smartphone makers keep in their mind.
Just recently a famous tipster named Abhishek Yadav has tipped the thickness and weight of Vivo X Fold 3 and Fold 3 Pro. Let’s check it out.
Tipped thickness and width of Vivo X Fold 3 series
As per the X post by Abhishek, the Vivo X Fold 3 can weigh around 219 grams. As far as thickness is concerned it can be 4.65 mm thick when unfolded and 10.2mm thick when folded. If we compare it with the predecessor Vivo X Fold 2, it came with a weight of 279gm and thickness of 6nm(unfolded), 12.9mm(folded).
On the other hand Vivo, X Fold 3 Pro smartphone is tipped to weigh 236 grams. It can be 5.2mm thick when unfolded and 11.2mm thick when folded. If the update given by the tipster comes out to be true, the foldable will be thinner and lighter than its predecessor.
Now taking this with a pinch of salt, we recently saw the leaked price and configuration of Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. Several key specs of the series have already come out. And the recent one that came out was the battery capacity of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. Famous tipster Ice Universe wrote in an X post that X Fold 3 Pro can be powered by a 5700mAh battery. Vivo itself in a Weibo post wrote that the X Fold 3 series will set the standard for ultra-lasting battery life. It would be light despite having a large battery capacity which must have been a herculean task for the company though would be a major advantage as well.
