iQOO Z9 Turbo seemingly teased by iQOO executive, expected to launch soon
Recent reports have revealed that this month (April) could be quite busy for iQOO in China. The reason behind this is that it is speculated to launch the iQOO Z9 series and the iQOO Pad 2 Pro tablet in the home market. It appears that the arrival of the Z9 series seems imminent, as an iQOO executive has seemingly teased the upcoming Z9 Turbo.
In the Weibo post above, iQOO Z-series product manager Xeng Ching is seen using a new Vivo smartphone, which is probably a Z-series phone. She claims to have tested the gaming performance of an upcoming Z series phone and found it to be quite impressive. She might be hinting at the Z9 Turbo, which is rumoured to be the most powerful phone in the series.
According to reports, the iQOO Z9 series includes three models, such as the Z9x, Z9, and Z9 Turbo. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipsets, respectively, are said to power these devices.
As per reports, the iQOO Z9 Turbo will arrive with a 6.78-inch flat OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It may ship with 12 GB / 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB of built-in storage, and a 6,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging. For photography, it may feature a 16-megapixel camera on the front and a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual-camera setup on the back.
