iQOO Z9 Turbo moniker, April launch officially confirmed
Several reports have claimed that the iQOO Z9 Turbo will be launching soon in China. In a recent Weibo post, iQOO Z-series product manager Xeng Ching hinted at the gaming performance of an upcoming smartphone. A newer Weibo post released by Ching has not only confirmed its moniker, but also revealed its launch timeframe.

As can be seen in the above screenshot, Ching has used the “iQOO Z9 Turbo” to publish the Weibo post. She has also mentioned that the device will be announced this month (April).

According to reports, the iQOO Z9 Turbo will arrive with a 6.78-inch OLED screen that produces a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. With the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, it is expected to rival the upcoming phones, such as the Redmi Turbo 3 and the Realme GT Neo 6, which are expected to feature the same chipset.
The Z9 Turbo is said to feature 12 GB / 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of native storage. It is likely to pack a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. It could have a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual camera setup with OIS support on the back panel.
The Z9 series for China is also said to include the iQOO Z9 and Z9x phones. These phones are said to feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipsets, respectively.
