Vivo Y200 GT (V2361GA) spotted on Google Play Console with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SOC
So, the launch date of the Vivo Y200 GT has already been announced, which will happen on May 20th in China. And this is going to be the first GT series smartphone from Vivo. Moving forward, we have now spotted the Y200 GT on Google Play Console, which has revealed that it might just be a repackaged iQOO Z9 5G (China), not to be confused with iQOO Z9 India.
Vivo Y200 GT Google Play Console
The listing on Google Play Console reveals the model number as vivo PD2361. However, the listing indicates that the system on a chip is QTI SM7550, corresponding to Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. The GPU listed is Qualcomm Adreno 7 series (676 MHz), while the CPU will feature 8 cores, with 4 running at 2.2 GHz and 4 at 1.8 GHz.
Adding to this, the iQOO Z9 5G (China) boasts a primary core clocked at 2.63 GHz, along with 4 cores at 2.2 GHz and 3 cores at 1.8 GHz. Considering these specifications, it appears that Vivo may have tuned the chipset for the Y200 GT.
Going further in the listing reveals the screen size to be 1260×2800 and a screen density of 480 DPI. I also found it will boot from Android 14 based OriginOS 4 custom skin. Well, it is currently unknown which version of OriginOS 4 will be there. Also, it will have at least 11.8-11.9 GB of RAM, which will be marketed as a 12GB RAM variant.
Upon checking the supported devices list, it showed “PD2361” under the device name and “V2361GA” under the model number. Interestingly, a few days back, two Vivo smartphones were spotted on 3C certification, both showing 80W fast charging support. One was listed as V2361GA, and the other as V2361A. Initially, it was speculated that both model numbers belonged to the iQOO Z9 (China) smartphone. However, upon the launch, iQOO Z9 (China) debuted with the model number V2361A.
Now, it seems rather clear that “V2361GA” was the Vivo Y200 GT model number that was earlier spotted on 3C certification.
Now, shifting focus to the design render, the placeholder image shown in the listing also features the iQOO badging. This solidifies the possibility that it might indeed be a repackaged iQOO Z9 (China), but with a tuned chipset. Thus, it is likely that it may carry similar specs to the iQOO Z9 (China).
