Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge Laptop Appears On Bluetooth SIG; Support Pages Go Live in Ireland and Hong Kong
The reports around the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge series have been surfacing on the internet for a while. Recently a major chunk of information about this series was leaked that we will see later in this report. This time Galaxy Book 4 Edge has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website thus revealing a few specs. Apart from this, the laptop has also been found on Samsung Hong Kong, UK support page.
Bluetooth SIG Listing Of Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge
As per the Bluetooth SIG listing of Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge has appeared with the model number NP940XMA. Its listing confirms that the laptop will support the latest Bluetooth 5.4 and will run Windows 11 out of the box.
We went a step ahead and found a product listed with the same model number(NP940XMAA-EXP) on the Samsung Hong Kong and UK support page that confirms the region of availability at least if nothing.
A few months back Samsung Galaxy 4 Edge has also been spotted on the Geekbench. As per the Geekbench listing the laptop will be powered by the Snapdragon X Elite chipset with the 16GB of RAM and Windows 11 Home(64-bit).
Expected specifications of Galaxy Book 4 Edge
The Galaxy Book 4 Edge laptop will be powered by the Snapdragon X Elite chipset which is already confirmed from its listing on Geekbench though it is speculated that the chipset might be of lower clock speed in comparison to its other variant of the series. The company is also said to launch the 16-inch variant that can be marketed as Galaxy Book 4 Edge Pro. This series is special because it will be the first to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite SoC that was announced last year during a launch event. The laptop can feature a 3K resolution Super AMOLED display with up to 400 nits of brightness. It is also tipped to come with two USB Type C 4.0 ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an HDMI port, a microSD card slot, and a USB Type-A port. And the Galaxy Book 4 Edge can be backed by a 61.8Wh battery that supports a 65W USB Type C fast charger
