Honor is cooking up a next 4G smartphone called Honor X6b 4G, spotted on IMDA and NBTC
It looks like we have a new 4G smartphone from the brand Honor, called the Honor X6b 4G. This smartphone was recently spotted on the GCF certification, which not only revealed its model number “JDY-LX2” but also the network bands it will support. Additionally, I have now spotted it on the IMDA and NBTC certifications, which I will discuss below.
Honor X6b 4G NBTC and IMDA
Let me start off with the NBTC certification. It shows up with the model number “JDY-LX2” and reveals the moniker Honor X6b 4G once again. It is listed with the certification number “B38308-24” and was issued on April 30, 2024. Further examination of the certification under Telecommunications Equipment shows “Cellular Mobile (GSM/WCDMA/LTE),” confirming it to be a 4G smartphone.
Moving on to the IMDA certification, it only shows the model number “JDY-LX2” without the moniker. However, both GCF and NBTC confirm its moniker to be Honor X6b 4G. The earlier GCF certification revealed the LTE bands it will support: 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, 20, 28, sub-band 281, and sub-band 28b.
Now we have at least some confirmation that this upcoming smartphone, the Honor X6b 4G, will be making its appearance in Singapore and Thailand. However, I believe that in the next couple of days or weeks, we may learn more about this upcoming smartphone as additional details become available.
