Alleged OnePlus Pad 2 Appeared On India’s BIS And Camera FV5 Revealing Camera Specs
We have all been hearing news about an upcoming tablet from Oppo called the Oppo Pad 3. Recently, reliable tipster, DCS claimed that OnePlus might release the next-gen of the OnePlus Tablet and several other OnePlus gadgets by the end of July. However, in a recent statement, he said that the launch of this tablet and several OnePlus gadgets has been delayed. Additionally, we have spotted a new tablet on the BIS and Camera FV-5 certifications with the model number “OPD2403”.
The reason I believe it’s from OnePlus is because of the 1+ (logo) marking found on the BIS listing under the brand. According to the listing, it was added on May 1, 2024. This is the only information available from the listing.
However, this is not all. The same tablet with the model number “OPD2403” is also listed on the Camera FV-5 certification. According to this listing, the device’s rear camera will be 13.1 MP with an aperture of f/2.2. The front camera will be 8 MP with a 2.8 mm focal length and an aperture of f/2.0.
This is important because earlier, DCS revealed the camera specifications of the upcoming Oppo Pad 3, stating that it would feature a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. Putting two and two together, this suggests that the new tablet that has surfaced might be the next tablet from OnePlus, called the OnePlus Pad 2.
If the rumors are correct, it will also feature a 12.1-inch LCD panel offering a 3K resolution of 3000 x 2120 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the screen will have a pixel density of 304 PPI, a custom 7:5 screen ratio, and a peak brightness of 800 nits.
Under the hood, it could be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It is likely to have a 9,510 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
