Honor Magic V Flip With Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC And 66W Fast Charging Launched In China: Check Out The Pricing & Specifications

As earlier announced, the Chinese smartphone brand Honor has unveiled its first clamshell foldable smartphone in China- Honor Magic V Flip. The brand has launched three color options for the smartphone while a special edition Honor Magic V Flip has also been unveiled. Let’s get to know the detailed information regarding this newly launched flip device.

Honor Magic V Flip: Specifications

The smartphone features a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED primary display that offers FHD+ screen resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits peak brightness, 3840Hz ultra high-frequency PWM dimming and is Dolby Vision certified. It features a 4-inch LTPO OLED cover display that supports over 40 applications.

It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and runs on MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14 OS. The device packs up a 50MP main camera with OIS support and a 12MP ultra wide-angle camera on the rear side while it features a 50MP Sony IMX816 selfie camera. It is backed by a 4800 mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. As per the company, the smartphone can be fully charged in 42 minutes. Other features include- dual stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a Luban Hinge, and an ultra-thin liquid cooling system.

Honor Magic V Flip: Pricing

The smartphone comes in Camellia White, Champagne Pink, and Iris Black color options. It is priced at CNY 4,999 for 8GB/256GB, CNY 5,499 for 12GB/512GB, and CNY 5,999 for 12GB/1TB. The company has also introduced a Magic V Flip Haute Couture Edition that comes with a 16GB/1TB storage configuration and is priced at CNY 6,999. This special edition smartphone comes with some customized accessories also.

The official sale for this latest flip smartphone will start from June 21 onwards in China but it is up for pre-orders in the country.
