Company wrote ”
“Dear Realme family,
We have to apologize to you.
For reasons beyond our control, our Realme GT 6 phones have been stolen on their way to Spain. We have not been able to recover them despite having done everything possible, so we will not be able to guarantee the in-store experience we would like during launch week.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
realme Spain”
The company further mentioned that this theft will affect the in-store experience during the launch in the region. One of the news outlets named ZONAMOVILIDAD says that this robbery took place on the night of 29th May and the trailer carrying the smartphones was robbed at gunpoint when the driver stopped to rest. The company is reportedly trying its best to replace the stolen inventory as soon as possible. This will cause the delays in arrival of the smartphones in the Spanish and Portuguese stores and an early arrival of smartphones in the black market ahead of the official launch of the smartphones.
