After OnePlus 9/9 Pro now OnePlus 8T is also getting the June 2024 Android Security Patch update

OnePlus recently issued the OxygenOS 14.0.0.701 update for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro smartphones, and now it is rolling out the OxygenOS 14.0.0.601 update for the OnePlus 8T. This update comes with the firmware version IN: KB2001_14.0.0.601(EX01) and is being rolled out in the India region only. I have added the complete changelog below.

  • You can now choose not to show the track when drawing the Lock screen pattern to unlock your device.

  • Fixes an issue where birthdays from Contacts might not be synced in Calendar events.
  • Fixes an issue where the Home screen and Recent tasks screen icons might overlap.

  • Fixes an issue where a corresponding app icon might respond when you close its corresponding Home screen widget.

  • Fixes an issue where the screen might turn black while playing a game.

  • Fixes an issue where the device might not vibrate for phone calls.
