Motorola Edge 50 now clears Indian BIS certification

Just to recall, we were the first to discover the Motorola Edge 50 on several key certifications like FCC, TDRA, and EEC. Now, there’s good news for Indian Moto fans, as the vanilla variant from the Edge 50 Series, the “Motorola Edge 50,” might be coming to India as well. This is because we have spotted it on the Indian BIS certification website.

Here is more to it.

Motorola Edge 50 BIS

It is listed with the model number “XT2407-3,” and the date of grant is today, 8th July 2024. Although the moniker isn’t mentioned, thanks to earlier findings, we know this model number belongs to the upcoming Motorola Edge 50.

Other than this, the certification doesn’t provide any information regarding the specs or features. However, our earlier findings reveal that it may come with a 5,000 mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. Additionally, it may run on Android 14 OS and will have support for WiFi 6 and NFC.

Additionally, a report from 91mobiles has already revealed the pricing for the European market, which is expected to be EUR 599 (approximately Rs 53,700). The report further mentions that the European launch may happen in July and that the device could come in green, peach, and grey colour options.
