MediaTek Announced A New Chipset For Mid Range Smartphones Dimensity 7350 chipset
We recently saw MediaTek announcing two new chipsets in the Dimensity 7000 series that were Dimensity 7300 and Dimensity 7300X and now comes the new chipset. This is MediaTek Dimensity 7350 processor that is an octa-core chipset based on TSMC’s 2nd generation 4nm process with two Arm Cortex-A715 cores clocked at 3GHz and 6 Arm Cortex-A510 cores. This processor supports up to LPDDR4x RAM and UFS3.1 storage. As far as GPU is concerned it has got Arm Mali-G610 MC4 GPU that the company says can provide “powerful performance in popular games, and combined with MediaTek HyperEngine, ensures games run fast, smooth and last longer on battery”. For AI the processor has got MediaTek NPU 657 that optimizes AI-fusion processing.
It comes with the MediaTek Imagiq 765 includes a premium 14-bit HDR-ISP and supports 200MP main cameras for stunning photography. This combined with the NPU 657, allows enhancement that boosts low-light performance, generates unique styles, or upgrades results. The processor also sports MediaTek MiraVision 765 which is compatible with the various global HDR standards, including HDR10+, CUVA HDR, and Dolby HDR, ensuring enhanced media streaming and playback. For stable connection under different scenarios, it includes a 3GPP Release-16 standard 5G modem that delivers rapid downlink speeds of up to 4.7Gbps. We can soon get to see the phones powered by this processor though currently it is not known.
