Redmi 14C Spotted On IMEI, HyperOS Source Code And FCC Database; Launch Seems Imminent
The smartphone brand Redmi officially unveiled the Redmi 13C smartphone last year and now the brand is said to soon launch the successor of this smartphone- Redmi 14C. As XIAOMITIME has spotted Redmi 14C with model number 2409BRN2CL on the IMEI and HyperOS source code database.
Redmi 14C is said to have few other model numbers also- 2409BRN2CG, 2409BRN2CI, 2409BRN2CY, 2490BRN2CA and 2409BRN2CC. Reports suggest that this upcoming device will be sold globally, in India and China as well.
Redmi 14C has ‘C3N’ and ‘C3NL’ internal model numbers that was recently spotted on HyperOS source code. The database revealed that the device will be powered by MediaTek Helio G81 processor.
The chipset name found above is a bit of a surprise, as the predecessor of this device, Redmi 13C was powered by Helio G85 SoC, hence the company might not use a processor named G81 in the upcoming model. Since the Helio G81 SoC is based on MT6768, it is assumed that the company might use the name Helio G91 Ultra for the chipset. Though nothing can be said for sure as of now and we have to wait to know the official chipset name of Redmi 14C.
Redmi 14C: FCC Listing
Redmi 14C with model number 2409BRN2CL has also made its appearance on the FCC certification website. It was spotted with FCC ID- 2AFZZRN2CL. The database reveals that the smartphone will run on Xiaomi HyperOS 1.0. It will arrive with support for WiFi 5. The device will sport a PIFA Antenna that arrives with model number C3N. It will support 5G and Bluetooth connectivity.
