Xiaomi Mix Flip Global variant spotted on Google Play Console supported devices list

Xiaomi has recently unveiled the Xiaomi Mix Flip and Mix Fold 4 in its home country, China. The talk of the town is that the Xiaomi Mix Flip will also be coming to global markets. While we wait for official information from Xiaomi, the global variant of the Mix Flip has now been spotted on the Google Play Console Supported Devices list.

Here is what I found.

The Chinese variant of the Mix Flip came with the model number “2405CPX3DC,” and the global variant was expected to carry a similar model number, but with the letter “G” at the end instead of “C”. Now, if you look at the screengrab below, this supports earlier rumors about it coming to global markets as well. Even the codename is the same as the Chinese variant, which is “ruyi.” Apart from this, it doesn’t reveal much in terms of specs, but it suggests that it may come with similar specs as the Chinese variant.

The reason I am saying this is because the Chinese variant also has the same codename “ruyi,” and according to the screengrab from the listing, the global variant has the same code. Therefore, the global variant may also come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. We can expect the inner display to be a 6.86-inch wide TCL C8+ 1.5K 1-120Hz AMOLED screen with 3000 nits peak brightness, while the outer display may come with a 4.01-inch wide C8+ 1.5K display with 3000 nits peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Moving further, a Xiaomi representative recently confirmed at a local press conference that the Mix Flip will be launching soon in five markets of Eastern and Central EU. He added that it will be priced at around €1,300 or $1,400. Sadly, he didn’t specify which memory options will be available, as the Chinese variant came with three memory options.

So, the launch is definitely near for the global markets, but the timeline is still missing. However, since it has now been spotted on the Google Play Console supported devices list, we may get some early announcements soon.
