Oppo K12x 5G Indian variant with 6.67″ 120Hz LCD display, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 launched

Oppo has a series of smartphones that are being launched one by one in both its home country, China, and global markets. Adding to the list is the Oppo K12x 5G, which is launched in the Indian market today. While the moniker sounds similar to the version launched in China, the specs and even the design are different from what we saw in the Chinese variant.

It comes with a 6.67″ 120Hz LCD display with an 89.9% screen-to-body ratio and offers 1000 nits of peak brightness. For added protection, it features a 360-degree damage-proof armored body with military-grade MIL-STD 810H certification. Despite its strength, it is probably the thinnest, with a 7.68mm ultra-thin design weighing about 186 grams.

Under the hood, you will get the Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The design looks quite similar to that of the OnePlus Nord CE 4, which was recently launched in the global market. Additionally, you will get up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM + 8GB of virtual RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. You can also expand the storage up to 1TB with a microSD card.

The back features a dual camera setup with a 32MP ultra-clear AF main camera (GC32E2 sensor), while the secondary camera is a 2MP portrait camera (GC02M1B sensor). The front has a punch-hole design housing an 8MP camera (GC08A8-WA1XA sensor). Additionally, you get a Cosmic Flashlight on the rear with the dual cameras.

The battery capacity is also decent, featuring a 5,100 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. A noteworthy feature is that you will get a charger in the box, which is a welcome addition since many smartphone brands have recently started removing chargers from their packaging.

Oppo K12x 5G Pricing
