The smartphone brand Oppo unveiled its latest Oppo Reno 12 5G series in Chinese, global, and Indian markets this year. The series included two models- Oppo Reno 12 5G and Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G. In Malaysia, Oppo Reno 12 5G was launched in Matte Brown and Astro Silver color options.
But now the device will be getting a third color option in Malaysia, as the brand has officially teased on the X platform that the Oppo Reno 12 5G Sunset Glow option will be coming soon in Malaysia.

This color option could be similar to the Oppo Reno 12 5G Sunset Gold option that launched in India last month. Other than the new color option, the smartphone is expected to boost similar features as that of the previous Oppo Reno 12 5G global variant.
Oppo Reno 12 5G: Specifications (global variant)
The smartphone features a 6.73-inch AMOLED display that offers 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ screen resolution, 1200 nits brightness and arrives with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy SoC and offers up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage.
This global variant arrives with a 50MP Sony LYT600 main camera, an 8MP IMX355 ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera on the rear side while on the front it features a 32MP selfie camera. The device is backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC charging.
It boasts various AI features like- AI LinkBoost, AI Eraser 2.0, AI Studio, AI Best Face, AI Toolbox, and AI Eraser 2.0. Other features include- an in-display fingerprint scanner, face unlock, stereo speakers, IP65 rating, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4.
