Cristiano Ronaldo breaks the internet by gaining 1 million subscribers within hours of launching his new YouTube channel
It stands at 24.4 million subscribers now
The Internet took to a storm on Thursday, 22 August 2024, as Cristiano Ronaldo, took to the popular video streaming platform YouTube and launched his new channel on 21 August 2024. The Portuguese and Al Nassr forward managed to gain about 1.70 million subscribers within hours after posting his first video. As of now, the channel has 24.4 million subscribers and counting.
With this, Ronaldo broke a record of reaching 10 million subscribers in one day, by overtaking Hamster Kombat, who achieved the same in seven days.
Earlier, he took to the social media platform Instagram and announced the launch of his YouTube channel through a post.

Right after the launch of the channel, Ronaldo uploaded 19 videos, including YouTube shorts. These videos include content of himself and his family.
He received the gold ‘play button’ from YouTube after gaining 1 million subscribers. He further took to the social media platform Instagram and posted a video with the caption, “A present for my family ❤️ Thank you to all the SIUUUbscribers!

The Internet rode along with the craze that followed after Ronaldo’s YouTube channel launch. Popular American online streamer, IShowSpeed, who happens to be a big fan of Ronaldo expressed the desire to collab with him on YouTube right off the bat.
