Classic Castlevania titles are now back with enhanced features on PlayStation 5, even features a reimagined version of Haunted Castle

Castlevania, the popular gothic action-adventure video game series created by Konami is now back with some of its most popular titles in PlayStation. On Tuesday, 27 August 2024, the gaming community was blessed with the launch of the Castlevania Dominus Collection on PlayStation 5. This collection features four classic monster-filled titles, which are Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, Order of Ecclesia, and a reimagined version of Haunted Castle.

The Castlevania titles have been popular on video game consoles, personal computers, and mobile phones. The first title of the series, which was self-titled as Castlevania was released on the Famicom Disk System in 1986. Alongside, it was also released on the Nintendo Entertainment System.

According to the trailer released on the YouTube channel of PlayStation for the four games, all of them are enhanced with new features. Some of them are as follows:

• To begin with, the games will now have a Multi-Display layout. Furthermore, you can also customize how these multiple screens will appear.
• You will now have a Controller for Touch Controls. A player can now use controller inputs for those specific actions.
• You will now be able to rewind for a “Die & Retry” experience by omitting the ‘Die’ part.
• You will now have the option of Quick Save with multiple slots available.
• The games will feature a Gallery with never-before-seen concept art.
• You can now enjoy the classic music tracks of the titles in their best quality.
