Vivo Y36c silently launched in China with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SOC
Earlier, we reported on the Vivo Y36c being spotted on Geekbench and Google Play Console, with both listings indicating a Dimensity 800 series chipset. However, the official listing confirms the device is powered by the Dimensity 6300 SoC. With the launch of the Vivo Y36c, the Y36 series now includes four smartphones in China.

Vivo Y36c Specs
It features a flat 6.56-inch LCD display with a 1612×720 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It measures 163.63mm x 75.58mm x 8.53mm, weighs approximately 185g, and is built with an IP54-rated plastic frame. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and front facial recognition.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Dimensity 6300 SoC (2.4GHz × 2 + 2.0GHz × 6), paired with up to 12GB + 12GB (Virtual RAM) of LPDDR4X dual-channel RAM and up to 256GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. The device runs on OriginOS 14, based on Android 14.
On the rear, the phone houses a dual-camera setup with a 50MP autofocus main sensor and an 8MP secondary sensor, supporting up to 10x zoom. The front camera has a 5MP sensor with front focus and 2x digital zoom. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery (rated at 4,880mAh) with 15W fast charging support.
It supports dual SIM with SA 5G, and for connectivity, it offers Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 5, a 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C.

It is available in three colour options: Moon Shadow Black, Distant Green Mountains, and Lingguang Purple. The device comes in four memory configurations:
