Infinix Zero 40 Series Launched In Market With AMOLED Display And 108MP Main Camera

Infinix has finally launched the much-awaited Infinix Zero 40 5G and 4G smartphones. The Infinix Zero 40 series is the first series that can work with the GoPro. Usually, all smartphones can work with the GoPro action cameras and that is by downloading the GoPro Quik app and pairing the action cam with a smartphone.

The catch with the series is that it lets you access your GoPro directly through the phone’s camera app. The series phones come pre-installed with the GoPro Quik also. Let’s get to know about it in detail.

Specifications of the Infinix Zero 40 series smartphones

The Infinix Zero 40 series phones feature a 6.74-inch wide curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 1300 nits peak brightness, and up to 120Hz refresh rate though the 5G variant supports up to 144Hz refresh rate.

The display stays protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Both of the smartphones of the series come with a 108MP main camera with OIS support, with 50MP and 2MP depth sensors.

The Zero 40 5G records up to 4K video at 60fps while Zero 40 4G can up to 2K resolution at 30fps. It also has the pre-installed GoPro Quik app and a dedicated GoPro mode.

The Infinix Zero 40 5G smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor while the Infinix Zero 40 4G smartphone is powered by the Helio G100 processor.

Both of the phones run XOS 14.5 which runs Android 14 out of the box. Both of the phones are backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging and for 5G variant also supports up to 20W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.

Price and availability

The Infinix Zero 4G pricing starts from MYR 1,200 ($279) for the 8/256GB variant in Malaysia while the 5G variant is priced at MYR 1,699 ($395). It will go on sale from September 8 in Malaysia.
