Classic Legends Unveils Jawa 42 FJ with New Features and Sportier Design – Check Variant Prices Here

Classic Legends by Mahindra has now launched the latest Jawa 42 bike, the Jawa 42 FJ, with a sportier elegance to the vehicle. It is the new addition to the Jawa 42 series, which previously included the 42 and 42 Bobber.

The new Jawa 42 FJ is priced at a starting price of Rs 1,99,142 (Ex – showroom Delhi). Earlier, Classic Legends teased this sporty variant of the Jawa 42 on Monday. Classic Legends has lately been formulating motorcycles under the Jawa & Yezdi brands. The motive is to hit the market as a competitor against franchises like Royal Enfield in the 350-450cc motorcycle segment. The first half of this year saw Classic Legends launching the Jawa 350 to compete with the Royal Enfield Classis 350. With the new addition of Jawa 42 FJ, the company is looking to compete against the likes of Triumph Speed 400.

New specifications on the Jawa 42 FJ

• A longer wheelbase (1440m) is seen on the Jawa 42 FJ along with higher ground clearance and segment-first brushed aluminum tank panels.
• The design is muscular, and sporty and features a JAWA logo on the fuel tank.
• The vehicle further features all-LED lighting and a digital instrument cluster.
• The bike features a six-speed gearbox and an A&S clutch, which will allow smoother gear shifts.
• The vehicle is built on a double cradle frame, which can provide stable handling on highways.
• A 350 Alpha 2 engine powers the 42 FJ, which delivers 29.2 PS and 29.6 Nm of torque.
• In terms of safety features, the bike includes dual-channel ABS and larger disc brakes, which ensure effective stopping power.
• The bike features tubeless tires which are mounted on premium diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Variants and their prices

Jawa 42 FJ is presented in five colour variants. These are Deep Black Matte Red Clad, Deep Black Matte Black Clad, Cosmo Blue Matte, Mystique Copper, and Aurora Green Matte. The prices of these variants differ in terms of the choice of spoke or alloy wheels. In this regard, the top-end variants are priced at about Rs 2,20,142 while the entry-level spoke wheel variants are priced at Rs 1,99,142.

After that, the Mystique Copper variant with alloy wheels is available at a price of Rs 2,15,142 (Ex-showroom Delhi). Even the Cosmo Blue Matte variant with alloy wheels is available at a price of about Rs 2,15,142 (Ex-showroom Delhi).
