ESDigital Games has announced the release date of Dark Pigeon Games developed Metroidvania AWAKEN Astral Blade. As per the announcement the game will be released on PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on October 22, 2024.

The AWAKEN-Astral Blade is a Metroidvania side-scrolling action game in which players are given the role of bionic Tania, who ventures deep into the rainforest in search of missing teams of researchers. There in the forests, she finds several secrets within some ruins and remains of the Jacha city.

For the launch of this game, the ESDigital Games will be partnering with other video game publishers. On the same day, fans across Europe will be able to get their hands on the PlayStation 5 physical boxed edition from publishing partner Meridiem. A special physical version of AWAKEN-Astral Blade for PlayStation 5 will be released by Meridiem. It will include a specially designed slipcase, a printed Lore Book that reveals Tania’s history, and a soundtrack and sticker featuring the Mech Mutant Prototype. PlayStation fans will also get access to post-release content DLC and additional outfits for TANIA.
