Xiaomi 14T Series to Ship Without Charger in Southeast Asia, claims tipster

Xiaomi has announced it will launch the Xiaomi 14T Series globally on 26 September. Recently, Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun announced that Xiaomi will also launch the Xiaomi Mix Flip globally in this very same month. Whilst the rumour mill has been circulating many details about these upcoming smartphones, a new piece of information suggests that the Xiaomi 14T Series may not include a charger in the box, specifically in the Southeast Asia region (Brunei, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam).

This tip comes from a reliable source known as Chun Bhai on X (formerly Twitter). According to him, Xiaomi is set to follow the same path as Samsung and Apple by not including a charger in the box for the Southeast Asia market. For some, this might not be a deal-breaker, but I feel Xiaomi should not have chosen this route. Notably, Vivo made a similar decision for the European variant of the Vivo V40. However, when it was launched in the Indian market, it did come with a charger in the box.

Since it is a rumour, it is always best to wait for the official announcement, which is only a few days away.
